Re: WoW!

Neat, I have not played since that last expansion went live so I do not know what they look like or what they can do (death knights) but in EQ1 I played a Shadow Knight. He is a lvl 67 Dark Elf Shadow Knight. He's an awesome guy, but I quit playing when the server population plummeted and my guild...

Re: WD 1 TB External not working

Just checking to see if you got it going yet or not. Since you posted, I have used a program called Spotmau to do a few types of data recovery for failing drives. Unfortunately, its not a free program but if you can afford it, it may help you. I'm not sure if they offer a trial or anything, but i...

Re: Can't boot from 320GB SATA HD anymore.

Sorry its been a while since I posted in this topic, I've been real busy lately. First of all, is your PC still in the same state? Is it still unable to boot from the hard drive (because of various Windows errors or it just reboots and keeps going to the Microsoft bootup menu for SAFE MODE etc?) o...

Re: Hard drive letter

I just realized that Bootdisk.com now charges to allow you to download their bootable ISO's. I MAY have something similar that wouldn't be more than a meg or two that I could possibly email you if you haven't found any way to make a 98 boot disk on CD by now. (Don't put your email address in the f...

Re: Hard drive letter

I think if you go to bootdisk.com you can actually download a CD ISO (very very tiny) of a 98 boot disk. You may be able to burn that to a CD and boot from the CD and try it from there... I'm still at work and will check back here later and see what else you may want to try. It was a WIndows XP ...

Re: needing to upgrade

That looks like a powerful video card... but the three choices you listed below, I would probably go with the 2nd choice (the Asus MB with an Intel Dual Core 2.5 CPU), only because I am not at all familiar with that Kuma AMD chip, but the price is only $20 different and I know that Intel CPU is a d...

Re: Hard drive letter

Welcome to the forums! Hmm thats very strange. The first thing I would have suggested would have been some sort of RESTORE partition from manufacturer, but if you built it yourself then that rules that out. And then theres the odd partition sizes...not just the two 102's but then the 510 also. D...
